Zhejiang University Intentional Business School(ZIBS)’s iMBA program is dedicated to advancing leaders who can envision and implement original business concepts. Scholars and students of diverse backgrounds benefit from the collaborative learning environment, world-class research and academic theory which is integrated with business practice. What are the student portraits of the iMBA programme?

Our students profiles have a diverse backgrounds from finance, manufacturing, internet and many other sectors, with an average age of 31 years old.

Does iMBA programme have extracurricular activities?

1)The iMBA programme has lots of extracurricular activities, including The Jinglun Series, The Insight Series, The Juanhu Night Talk Series, which provide industrial insight to iMBA students.

2)Traditional Chinese holidays are also celebrated on the international campus. There will be Art and Culture Day, New Year celebration, Chinese Culture Salon etc.

3)We arranged corporate visits to top-tier Chinese companies e.g. Geely Auto, NetEase, Greentown China and LianLian Pay.

What is the campus address? How to get to the International Campus of Zhejiang University? (Transportation)

The International Campus of Zhejiang University is one of the seven campuses of Zhejiang University, which located at No. 718, Haizhou East Road, Haining City, Zhejiang Province.

In terms of transportation, there is already a Hangzhou-Haining city railway connecting Haining to Hangzhou, which connects to the Hangzhou Metro. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Hangzhou from the international campus. The university provides shuttle buses from the Yuquan and Zijingang campuses to the international campus on weekdays.

Can iMBA students apply for an accommodation? What is the college system of the accommodation?

ZJU international campus applies college system, where you can enjoy close interaction with your teachers and grow with your peers.

Colleges are congenial communities with their own hostels and other facilities. They are where students receive pastoral care and whole-person education, and offered exciting palettes with which to colour their university life, including overseas exchange, student visitor programmes, seminars, mentorship and community service programmes, and training in languages, leadership etc. Extracurricular activities are also organised by the college student unions.

Howto apply for the iMBA programme?

Entrance Requirements

1)Hold a bachelor's degree, MUST have 2 years relevant working experience

2)Minimum TOEFL score (Internet-based = 90, paper-based = 577, computer-based=233) or IELTS score (6.5) for graduates of universities in which English is not the medium of instruction.

a)　Signed application form with photo (white background, 35mm x 45mm size)

b)　Copy of valid passport (photo page)

c)　Original or notarized copy of highest degree

d)　Official transcripts for each degree held

e)　Official TOEFL or IELTS score report (if applies) (Department Code for GRE: 4741/Department Code for TOEFL C340)

f)　Personal Statement (minimum 1,500 words) either in English or Chinese

g)　A full curriculum vitae

h)　Two reference letters with referees’ signature and contact information (one academic & one professional)

i)　Payment receipt of the application fee (RMB 800)

Does a candidate need to be interviewed ?

iMBA Admission team will short-list candidates who will be interviewed. Interviews will be held via video conference (interview is arranging on a rolling basis, so we recommend to apply as early as possible).
