The Master of China studies (MCS)is a MA-level degree program with a strong focus on China’s economic, cultural, and societal context. Zhejiang University Business School (ZIBS), partnering with the Institute of China Studies infuses business trends into the long-standing China Studies program.

The MCS has a team of more than 30 professors from various departments and practical components of the program, such as workshops, field trips, and internships, engage students in the Chinese society to further prepare them for conducting independent research and to integrate empirical knowledge in daily life and work.

MCS is now opening the 2022 admissions for international students, the application deadline is on 28

In the immense search for young talented students all across the globe, Zhejiang University offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for international students to pursue their degree in the Master of China Studies Program:

●　Chinese Government Scholarship

●　ZhejiangUniversity Scholarship

●　Hai Scholarship

Application Requirement:

●　Bachelor’s degree and above

●　Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Individual special cases will be reviewed separately.

●　Candidates whose native language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL (90 or higher), IELTS (6.5 or higher).

●　No Chinese language proficiency is required for the program at the moment.

●　Students holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an English-instructed institution are waived from taking the IELTS or TOEFL

I’m Harry from the UK and I applied to study the MCS programme at Zhejiang University because after completing my bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies I wanted to continue my studies in China. The MCS programme seemed like the perfect opportunity to gain a postgraduate qualification and improve my Chinese language in an academic environment which will both hopefully help me secure a job in China
