Using the example of semiconductor chip shortages, Professor Gaur highlighted how businesses respond to supply chain crises, demonstrating how companies face challenges in complex supply chain management and the practical problems they encounter. He emphasized that supply chain management requires businesses to adopt different management strategies based on the type of product and to remain flexible in response to changes in the market, continually optimizing the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
