復(fù)旦大學(xué)泛海國(guó)際金融學(xué)院（簡(jiǎn)稱“復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金”）不僅有來自五湖四海的中國(guó)同學(xué)，也不斷吸引著背景多元的國(guó)際學(xué)生們。在首屆精英金融專業(yè)碩士（EMF）項(xiàng)目的畢業(yè)生中，國(guó)際生同學(xué)們的就業(yè)，無(wú)論在海外還是國(guó)內(nèi)，都書寫著同樣的精彩，煥發(fā)著絢麗多彩的光芒；疫情影響之下，學(xué)院老師和同學(xué)們一起更加積極而及時(shí)地調(diào)整就業(yè)地點(diǎn)和方向，同時(shí)也面臨著各種挑戰(zhàn)和機(jī)遇；經(jīng)過復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金兩年的學(xué)習(xí)，畢業(yè)臨近之時(shí)，同學(xué)們?nèi)慷际斋@到了自己滿意的offer。

本期【逐夢(mèng)·愛與未來】系列國(guó)際學(xué)生特輯將帶大家走進(jìn)EMF2021屆（首屆）國(guó)際畢業(yè)生陳藝雙、周舒琪和郭智城三位同學(xué)，了解他們?cè)趶?fù)旦泛海國(guó)金的成長(zhǎng)故事。

Looking back, two people played a decisive role in my enrolment at FISF. Rewinding the clock by two years, I sat in my room in Beijing researching postgraduate programmes. After over a decade of studying in the UK, I had decided to pursue a master’s degree in China; however, finding the right programme was not a straightforward task. Days of browsing still left me feeling very far away from an answer. The decision was difficult due to my international background, very few schools both offer the best-in-class standards I demanded and provided a culture I identified with. None of the programmes “clicked” with me.

I wanted to speak to someone who has gone through the application process for some concrete advice. Unfortunately, I did not know any suitable persons; therefore, I turn to the solution that makes all introverts (myself included) cringe at the mention of – cold mailing on LinkedIn! Of the three messages I sent, one of them was received and responded to by Bo Yuan – a Peking University undergraduate student who will be starting his master’s in Fudan University. Bo introduced FISF International School of Finance (FISF) to me, and the school’s mission of becoming a world-class, truly international business school with a special focus on the Chinese economy instantaneously spoke to me. For me, the international nature of FISF is threefold – for starters, the course is taught completely in English; secondly, around 25% of my classmates were international students – a very high percentage for Chinese universities; and finally, it has rich exposure to pioneering professors and professionals from all around the world. Currently, it is rare to find such a cosmopolitan school environment in China and this is something I valued. Looking back, I am very grateful for sending that unnerving InMail to Bo, we joke that he should receive a commission from FISF for all his help with admissions. Bo and I actually ended up being in the same class!

The second person shaping my decision is Justin Hou – programme administrator at FISF. Justin was the FISF first faculty member I met. Other than exemplifying excellent professionalism regarding academic work, he truly took the time and effort to get to know each student. The master programme at FISF is called Elite Master of Finance;for me, the “Elite” stands for a personalised VIP experience each student experiences in their two/three years here.The limited number of students in the programme allows the school to build a personal connection with each student. I remember when first settling down in Shanghai, as an international student I needed to sort out paperwork regarding visas. This can be a daunting and stressful process, however fortunately I was able to rely upon FISF staff such as Justin to provide plenty of support. Perhaps this is also somewhat of a Chinese culture specialty, but many faculty staff felt like our parents away from home here in FISF, which was very comforting.

Finally, what I am the fondest about regarding FISF are my classmates andfriends. Even as a British-Chinese, I worried about struggling to fit in with my classmates when studying inChina. To my surprise, FISF has a large proportion of international students, and the culture barrier with the Chinese students is a lot less than I anticipated.One of our classmates is Thai and speaks no Chinese at all, butwith Fanhai’s welcoming culture and his friendly smile, he soon made many good friends (myself included)!

The intensity of the curriculum quickly builds a strong bond between the group as you’re spending the majority of your awake hours together.When you’re running late for the morning class and ask your friend to grab you some breakfast from “BaBiManTou”, or going to our favourite lunch place “A Mao” before rushing back to afternoon classes, or celebrating the end of a deadline with a hotpot at Haidilao. For me, the time spent in Shanghai is spoilt with many cherished memories. During breaks from school, we would utilise this time to explore other cities and parts of China. For example, one weekend we explored the ancient town of Suzhou!

Of course, there were also late nights we had to pull in order to meet deadlines for projects, but the company of friends and takeaways made even these times bitter-sweet. Even when teaching moved online due to Covid-19, we found ways to make group projects fun and engaging.

FISF was able to offer me everything I looked for in my masters: an understanding of finance, exposure to China’s top companies and professionals, a group of like-minded peers, and in addition, it surprised me with a strong sense of belonging. Thank you for a great two years!

在復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金學(xué)習(xí)和生活的兩年時(shí)光轉(zhuǎn)瞬即逝。意外出現(xiàn)的新冠肺炎疫情使EMF2021屆的同學(xué)們不僅僅體驗(yàn)了豐富多彩的校園生活，也經(jīng)歷了線上學(xué)習(xí)課程和線上考試。作為一名海外留學(xué)生，我在疫情期間能夠順利畢業(yè)并且求職成功，我覺得三分之一源于努力，三分之一要?dú)w功于好運(yùn)氣，另外三分之一則來自于EMF項(xiàng)目組的陪伴和付出。

在加拿大生活八年后，因?yàn)橛行﹨捑肓恕昂蒙胶盟脽o(wú)聊”的生活，我毅然選擇回國(guó)發(fā)展，而加入復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金是我最正確的選擇之一。我認(rèn)為攻讀金融類專業(yè)碩士時(shí)，除了鞏固相關(guān)專業(yè)知識(shí)，明確未來的就業(yè)方向也是極其重要的一環(huán)。除了經(jīng)濟(jì)、公司金融、財(cái)報(bào)、固收、衍生品等必修課程，復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金安排了豐富的實(shí)踐類課程和活動(dòng)，包括LIVE Projects、Overseas Module、以及形式多樣的職業(yè)發(fā)展類活動(dòng)。其中LIVE 課程讓我受益匪淺，導(dǎo)師們都是金融各領(lǐng)域的行業(yè)精英，不但在帶領(lǐng)我們做課題時(shí)非常專業(yè)負(fù)責(zé)，課后也愿意常常與我們探討各細(xì)分領(lǐng)域的熱點(diǎn)議題和趣聞。和導(dǎo)師們的交流逐漸激發(fā)了我更加努力提高自己的動(dòng)力，向往著日后能和優(yōu)秀的導(dǎo)師們?cè)谕恍袠I(yè)內(nèi)并肩作戰(zhàn)。

在明確自己職業(yè)發(fā)展的道路上，職業(yè)發(fā)展中心的范英老師可謂是我的“明燈”。在第一次走進(jìn)職業(yè)發(fā)展中心咨詢室時(shí)，我是一個(gè)不折不扣的“金融小白”。經(jīng)過幾次交談后，結(jié)合范英老師對(duì)我的個(gè)人特質(zhì)剖析和行業(yè)發(fā)展方面的建議，我很快便確定了自己的求職目標(biāo)——“股票銷售交易部”。現(xiàn)在看來，堅(jiān)定且具體的求職目標(biāo)，一定是拿到理想Offer的關(guān)鍵一步。另外，學(xué)院學(xué)術(shù)副院長(zhǎng)張純信教授的一句鼓勵(lì)“You can handle any job”，也讓我更加勇于釋放自己的閃光點(diǎn)，追逐自己的目標(biāo)。

然而，我的求職道路也并非一帆風(fēng)順。疫情肆虐的2020年，當(dāng)時(shí)我身處加拿大無(wú)法回國(guó)，連是否能準(zhǔn)時(shí)畢業(yè)都充滿了不確定性。在此要感謝班主任Celine老師，細(xì)心地為身在海外的同學(xué)們準(zhǔn)備材料，克服時(shí)差聯(lián)絡(luò)各地的同學(xué)。2020年7月，中國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)疫情已得到基本控制，大多數(shù)同學(xué)們的暑期實(shí)習(xí)開始有條不紊地進(jìn)行起來，而我之前準(zhǔn)備的暑期實(shí)習(xí)面試卻因無(wú)法回國(guó)而泡湯，倍感焦慮。此時(shí)，范英老師鼓勵(lì)我積極參與遠(yuǎn)程實(shí)習(xí)，為之后的求職路打下夯實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。

后來，在校招過程中，國(guó)際生應(yīng)聘不是很容易。身邊的人不斷告訴我中資頭部券商鮮有招聘國(guó)際應(yīng)屆生，事實(shí)證明以往的留學(xué)生也多數(shù)進(jìn)入了外資公司。而范英老師不厭其煩地幫我聯(lián)絡(luò)各公司的HR以確認(rèn)招聘中的國(guó)籍要求問題，并一直鼓勵(lì)我：“只要足夠優(yōu)秀，在求職中，國(guó)籍不會(huì)成為很大的障礙。”我能堅(jiān)定并成功地走完在中國(guó)的校招歷程，離不開職業(yè)發(fā)展中心的幫助。

在復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金的兩年里，我深刻體會(huì)到了“Diligence, Responsibility, Open-mindedness”的EMF項(xiàng)目目標(biāo)。能夠最后交出一份滿意的答卷，背后離不開整個(gè)項(xiàng)目團(tuán)隊(duì)的支持。2019年夏天，感恩遇見。未來的路，我們戮力同心，砥礪前行！

作為一名復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金EMF項(xiàng)目的國(guó)際學(xué)生，我或許是為數(shù)不多的從一開始就確定要在中國(guó)發(fā)展的學(xué)生之一。從中國(guó)飛速發(fā)展的金融行業(yè)，到迷人又親切的文化，我在加入復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金之初便知道自己希望留在國(guó)內(nèi)發(fā)展。不出意外，我在求職的路上遇到了不少瓶頸，例如辦理應(yīng)屆國(guó)際生工作簽證和許可，部分公司不提供適合國(guó)際生的職位等因素，給我?guī)硪粋€(gè)又一個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)。作為EMF項(xiàng)目的第一屆畢業(yè)生，本就努力“摸著石頭過河”的我們偏偏又碰上了疫情這只黑天鵝，許多原先看似合理的安排都被突然打亂了，這給當(dāng)時(shí)的我也帶來了不少心理壓力和焦慮感。也是在這段時(shí)間里，學(xué)院學(xué)術(shù)副院長(zhǎng)張純信教授、職業(yè)發(fā)展中心主管范英老師、以及其他EMF項(xiàng)目組的老師們都向我伸出援手，鼓勵(lì)我去擁抱未知的環(huán)境和挑戰(zhàn)，從而一步步幫助我讓我找到了工作、學(xué)習(xí)和生活的節(jié)奏。

另一方面，在復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金求學(xué)時(shí)所養(yǎng)成的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣和思維方式也為我如今的工作奠定了極佳的實(shí)踐基礎(chǔ)。作為一個(gè)本科也就讀于金融系的學(xué)生，本以為在碩士階段的學(xué)習(xí)相比同學(xué)們會(huì)稍加輕松，然而，加入EMF項(xiàng)目之后，一個(gè)接一個(gè)高要求的課程和身邊“比你優(yōu)秀還比你努力”的同學(xué)們讓我深刻地意識(shí)到“老本不好吃”——保持好奇、保持學(xué)習(xí)才是成長(zhǎng)的驅(qū)動(dòng)力。

要說我在EMF的體驗(yàn)，大概可以用我的一個(gè)心境來描述。每每在聊天的過程中，總有人會(huì)問起 “Hey，你們EMF是幾年的項(xiàng)目呀，感覺如何？你是什么時(shí)候入學(xué)，什么時(shí)候畢業(yè)的呢？” 面對(duì)這些問題的我總會(huì)愣住幾秒鐘。復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金EMF在我的腦海中好像從未被定義為一個(gè)時(shí)間界限清晰、循規(guī)蹈矩的常規(guī)碩士項(xiàng)目，而是一張張生動(dòng)的面孔、與個(gè)性鮮明的良師和益友共度的記憶片段、一個(gè)由共榮感和連接感構(gòu)建起來的溫暖整體。

在這里，我很高興能有這樣一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)在畢業(yè)之后分享我與EMF項(xiàng)目一同走過的經(jīng)歷與感受，也希望學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們能與我一樣幸運(yùn)地在復(fù)旦泛海國(guó)金找到屬于自己的快樂，收獲屬于自己的成長(zhǎng)。
